Each year the community gets together to hear about the accomplishments and future plans of the Alliance. In 2009 we will be celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the Alliance and the Guest Speaker at this year’s meeting will be Dr. Lou Anna K. Simon, president of Michigan State University. The meeting will be held on December 3, 2009 at 8:00am, at the Causeway Bay Hotel in Lansing, Michigan.

The volunteers who serve have made the Alliance’s committees vibrant, compelling and committed to the issues they have embraced. At each Annual Meeting the Alliance presents the Community Service Awards, Nursing Excellence Award and Certificates of Appreciation to individuals and organizations that have been instrumental in the region in creating, leading or furthering the mission, goals and values of the Capital Area Health Alliance.
